World Book Day

Some of us wanted to do a secret book swap again this year so Ella and Kasey decorated a swap box for us. We wrapped our books and put a describing word on the front to give a clue about what type of book it was.

 Everyone seemed happy with their books.

We went to the library to share our favourite books and authors with each other and Mrs McRae shared the books she used to read as a child. Iona knew a lot of the stories in the Hans Christian Anderson book!

The Rupert books have instructions for making things and Ella thought it might be fun to try some of them even though it was a bit old fashioned!

We all love reading and spending time in the library.
